Yes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, advance payment is mandatory before dispatch of goods. Payment terms are clearly specified in the quotation or invoice. In case of delayed payments, Advit reserves the right to charge interest at 18% per annum or the maximum rate permitted under applicable law. Dispatch and delivery schedules may also be affected if payment terms are not complied with.
Orders once confirmed cannot be canceled without prior written consent from Advit. Customized or made-to-order machines are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are manufactured specifically according to the Buyer’s requirements. If a cancellation request is exceptionally approved, cancellation charges may apply based on the stage of production, work completed, and raw materials or components already procured. Any refund, if applicable, will be processed after adjusting such costs.
Advit provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for the period specified in the quotation or invoice, commonly 6 or 12 months from the date of dispatch. The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts at Advit’s discretion. Replaced parts may be new or reconditioned. The warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects and does not extend to performance guarantees unless specifically agreed in writing.
The warranty does not cover wear and tear parts or consumables. It also excludes damage caused by mishandling, improper installation, inadequate maintenance, voltage fluctuations, misuse, accidents, or operation contrary to provided instructions. Any repairs, modifications, or alterations carried out by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty. Service visits outside warranty coverage, including labor, travel, lodging, and related expenses, are chargeable.
Delivery timelines provided by Advit are indicative and may vary due to production schedules, logistics constraints, or unforeseen circumstances beyond control. Dispatch is generally on an Ex-Works / FOB factory basis unless agreed otherwise in writing. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Buyer once the goods are dispatched or handed over to the transporter. Buyers are responsible for arranging freight and insurance unless these are specifically included in the quotation.
